5-FU injections

  1. Dissolve 5-FU into PBS at 50 mg/mL. Add NaOH to a final pH of 9-10 and heat to
    bring it into solution.
  2. Inject 150 mg/kg IP once. Repeat every 10-14 days as indicated by the
    experiment.
  3. Note that HSC surface marker expression changes for a period of time after 5-FU
    treatment.
